Egad! Color!

Since 2010 I've been taking a small sketchbook with me pretty much everywhere I go. I've filled up over twenty. Right now I'm going through one of those Strathmore Visual Journals (I have quite a few and can recommend. If you can find them. Methinks they might be phasing them out, but I'm not certain). At first they made them with multi-media paper (my preferred drawing surface), but more recently (?) they were available in Bristol (smooth and Vellum), drawing paper, and watercolor, which is what I'm working on now.
Of course, I don't work in color very often. I do have watercolor paints and brushes, and a whole lotta markers, but still. Since this was watercolor paper, I thought I might try it.
As for the character here... she might be someone from What I Am Working On.
